OK, can anyone help me out on this one??
I was talking to my boss today and he told me about something he heard on the news about a 4 star general who went to church in his uniform. Apparently this is a man who is being put in charge of a large part of the military actions in Iraq. Anyway, according to my boss, this man made a statement about his belief that we are involved in a "holy war" to destroy the Muslims in Iraq.
WHAT?!!?!?!
This man is going to be in charge of U.S. troops and he's out to kill people for a religious belief???
Someone, anyone, if you know of any articles or heard about this anywhere, please let me know.
And by the way, there is never an excuse to kill or do violence in the name of Jesus. That's just plain blasphemy against everything He ever taught. Oh, this one is REALLY burning me up. Hope somebody can help me out.
